  2. Question no 2, the correct answer is c)Hardness excessive heat will cause the hardness value increase which leading to material brittle..

  3. You are wrong high heat input will reduce toughness, low heat input will increase hardness.

  5. Ans for Q.2: If the heat input is high, cooling will become slow. So coarser grain will form as the time for grain growth is high. Larger the grain size reduces the hardness and toughness. Reduction in toughness is more serious as reduction in hardness will improve ductility. So the Ans is "Toughness"
